I cheated, I ordered the exact model of the one that went bad..works perfect. mine was easy to install, because the wire colors wereexactly the same. so was the wiring diagram on the motor.Yours very happy.Kevin

It seems as though most of the replacement parts are made either in China, SE Asia, or Mexico these days. This motor is made in Thailand. The steel is definitely Chinese/SE Asian quality. It's cheap. That being said, it is still a decent motor. Smooth rotation, low noise, and an acceptable level of vibration. I purchased it to replace a 32 year old GE motor that was made in the US. If this new one lasts 10 years, it will have definitely been worth every penny. Altogether, I am pleased with the unit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a value priced HVAC condenser fan motor.I put this motor in my cart as a reminder to order it by spring. While it was in there, I noticed that the price began to drop as Christmas approached. Amazon prices fluctuate based on many factors. When I bought this unit (12.03.2012), I paid $52.10 with free Prime shipping. As of writing this review, it is listed for $70.07. The lowest priced comparable motor from Grainger is a Century model for $83.70 plus shipping. I'm still not sure how, but I got one heck of a deal!

Was shipped as promised, came in new and 100% ontime.The typical motors sold for this purpose are non-bearing/sleeve motors. This one has bearings and will last much longer. Seller is tops!
